About Me...

I am a graduate of the Qld Conservatorium of Music, having received my Bachelor of Music (in Performance and Pedagogy) in September of 2005 studying under Mr Oleg Stepanov.  During my fourth year I was awarded an exchange scholarship to study abroad at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany (under Frau Claude-France Journès).

I have been studying piano since the age of three, brought up initially with the Suzuki method, and later working my way through the AMEB exam system to achieve my AmusA and LmusA in piano, my AmusA in flute, and 6th grade Theory with consistently very high results (honours or distinction) before leaving highschool.

I have been a professional member of the Accompanist's Guild of QLD since 2002 and regularly play for concerts, eisteddfords, exams, recordings and other performance opportunities.  I have been teaching private Piano, Flute and Theory students from my home and within schools for over 15 years now, with all ages and abilities welcome on a first-come-first-serve basis. I am also currently employed as the Instrumental Music Co-ordinator at Westside Christian College, where I have also been tutoring Flute since 2006.
